Peter in the Daffodils

My youngest was about a year old when the photograph
this painting is from was taken—young enough to be cute and
still pretty much stay put when you set him down somewhere. That
didn't last. Now as an adult he's bigger than me, and while he's
still pretty cute, he's usually at least one step ahead of me and
sometimes completely beyond my comprehension. I try to keep things
that way with my parents, too.
